Demo Version of the Mukurtu archive online

As promised Craig Dietrich and I have put a demo version of the Mukurtu Wumpurrarni-kari Archive online. You can test out the archive, add content with restrictions or not, add a user profile, make collections, and all kinds of other good stuff! We have populated the archive with enough content to give you an idea of the functionality even if you don’t want to upload anything. But by uploading you will see the process of adding metadata, linking to restriction and the way the protocol functions work–so it’s worth it to upload!

You can access the demo directly here: (http://demo.mukurtuarchive.org/) or via the mukurtu website’s demo page.

Either way, please test away! We’d love to get feedback from you as we move onto to more development. Also we have good news from the WSU intellectual property office: we can license the software using a GPL when we are ready to roll! So others can build on what we have done and make it better!
